In 2019, we joined forces with Sarah Silverman and Rep. Ted Lieu and Adam McKay to help a refugee find asylum here in the United States, after she was brutally forced to flee her home country in western Africa. She was a kindergarten teacher, suddenly faced with a life or death decision, tragically separated from her then-10 year-old son who ever since has lived with relatives.


We have worked extremely hard on a mission to retrieve her son ourselves and FINALLY bring him to be safely reunited with his mother and brother in the United States.


It's an understatement that this will be our most expensive mission ever — from flights to hotels, to visas to food. So please, if you can, make a donation of anything you can afford below to help us accomplish this critical mission.
