The Comedy Resistance always goes where we are needed. Now we are in East Palestine, Ohio, where the railroad corporation Norfolk Southern has caused a toxic spill of tens of thousands of gallons of vinyl chloride and other chemicals posing a serious threat to the health and safety of the community.
We cannot sit idly by and watch the suffering of these families. That's why we have driven to East Palestine from Upstate New York to deliver as many cases of drinking water as our truck can carry and connect with the local mutual aid efforts. But if we know one thing about bottled water, it's that the human body needs plenty, daily. And once it is gone, it's gone.
