Last year, Illinois passed the Teaching Equitable Asian American Community History (TEAACH) Act. As the first state in the nation to require a unit of Asian American history in all public schools, our success is crucial. We need your support to make TEAACH real!
Your contribution will support:
(1) Embolden a new generation of Illinoisans who know Asian American history, translating to greater
understanding and curtailing anti-Asian hate in communities across the state;
(2) Develop a meaningful micro-credential for 2000 Illinois teachers; and
(3) Ensure that 100% of all schools in Illinois are following TEAACH in 5 years.
You can contribute to this effort by supporting the Asian American Caucus Education Foundation (AAC-EF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
