Four years ago today, the Trump administration began its "zero tolerance" policy at the border. Under this shockingly cruel policy, over 5,000 children were separated from their families.
Until we pass comprehensive, compassionate immigration reform, the echoes of the "zero tolerance" policy will continue to haunt our nation and our borderlands.
