The Family First Movement started a little over a year ago in response to the growing frustration of families who felt forgotten by the decisions being made in Washington. I launched that effort to help give working families a stronger voice, and that mission continues to guide my work today.

Rooted in Tennessee values—service, perseverance, and faith—I have spent nearly three decades living and working across this state, from Johnson County to Davidson County, witnessing the grit and resilience of Tennessee families firsthand.

I am running for U.S. Senate as a Blue Dog Democrat committed to building a broad coalition that puts people over politics and delivers practical, common-sense solutions for Tennessee families. My focus is Family First, guided by my Faith Forward™ philosophy, and grounded in government accountability, public integrity, and ending corruption in Washington.

Washington has ignored the affordability crisis, cut healthcare, and burdened working families and farmers. Too often, corruption and entrenched interests have taken priority over the people they are supposed to serve. I refuse to stay silent.

I vow to focus on real solutions, stand up for those who’ve been left behind, and ensure policy reflects the needs of everyday Tennesseans—not partisan agendas, but accountability, integrity, and respect for our Constitution.
