Denise Tepler, Maine State Representative, Topsham

Rep. Denise Tepler is serving her third term in the Maine House of Representatives. She serves as House chair of the Health Coverage Insurance and Financial Services Committee. Like many Mainers, she has had a varied career while raising her family, working as an adjunct lecturer for the University of Southern Maine, a cooking teacher and columnist and a local foods advocate. In 2015 and 2016, the American Legion, Department of Maine, named Tepler one of its Legislators of the Year. Tepler has been married to her husband, Sheldon, since 1981. They have three daughters and two sons.
