Contribute to Delegate Teresa S. Woorman!

I’m Teresa Woorman, and I’m honored to serve as one of your Delegates from District 16 in the Maryland House of Delegates.

I just completed my second legislative session in Annapolis, where I serve as Deputy Majority Whip, a member of the Health Committee, and on the Elder and Long-Term Care, Maternal, Infant, and Child Health, and Public Health and Minority Health Disparities subcommittees.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked hard to hit the ground running and deliver real results for District 16. I’ve passed legislation protecting consumers from abusive insurance practices, strengthening patient and family protections, expanding safeguards against online harassment, improving oversight and accountability in healthcare settings, and helping Maryland families navigate difficult moments with dignity and fairness.

This session, I was proud to pass legislation removing outdated citizenship barriers that prevented some families from serving as personal representatives for loved ones’ estates, while also advancing legislation to make it easier for Maryland students to access in-state tuition and higher education opportunities.

But there is still so much more work to do.

I ran for office because I believe government can and should improve people’s lives. As someone who benefited from the Maryland Dream Act as an undocumented student, I know firsthand how state policy can open doors and create opportunities. That experience shaped my commitment to public service and continues to drive the work I do every day in Annapolis.

Now, I’m running to earn a full term representing District 16, and I need your support to continue this work.

Campaigns in Montgomery County are expensive, and in order to reach voters across our district, we need the resources to communicate directly with them about the work we’ve accomplished and the vision we’re fighting for.

Your contribution will help us build the grassroots campaign needed to keep delivering for District 16.
