Investing in workers

The variety of businesses that support our economy – and the workers who staff those businesses – make our district great.

We’re lucky to have strong manufacturing, healthcare, and government activities to give us a vibrant economic base. But to keep that vitality going, we have to invest in our workers, which means investing in education.

We also must make it easy to start and run small businesses in our district. Entrepreneurism fills in the gaps where large businesses cannot reach: it’s the backbone of our economy. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand how imperative it is to support small businesses.

I think every day about our local economy. The #SpiritofService drives me to find ways to keep it healthy and growing. If you believe in that goal, please support my campaign. Every hard-earned dollar counts.
