BUILDING WITH COMMUNITY.
Deb is a Worcester resident, community organizer, and human rights advocate with over 30 years of leadership experience. Deb holds a Master's Degree in Non-Profit Management from Worcester State University.
Deb Hall has over three decades of non-profit and community experience working in the field of domestic violence, literacy, homelessness and substance use disorder at the intersection of race and gender equity. She is passionate about social change and supporting our communities. Currently, she serves as Director of Domestic Violence Services at YWCA Central Massachusetts. Deb is running for City Council because she recognizes the change that can happen from within while also acknowledging the need for community-based action. Deb grew up in a large multi-racial family. As the only girl in a house of six boys, she learned quickly how to advocate for herself. Deb knows the importance of caring about community and others by being involved in activism from a young age with her parents and brothers. Deb’s courage, proven leadership, and compassion ensures that all residents are included in decisions about Worcester's future. Our grassroots campaign is about building with community.
