Donate to Mysiki Valentine for DC State Board of Education
Mysiki is fighting for our students and families at pivotal time in DC. He will fight for strong neighborhood schools, budget transparency, and an end to the practices that contribute to the school-to-prison pipeline. But he's up against a well-funded, corporate-backed machine and needs your help!
He is the only candidate certified to participate in DC's Fair Elections Programs. He isn't taking money from corporations or PACs, and he's not taking big dollar contributions from wealthy donors.
Individual contributions are capped at $50, and to even the playing field donations from DC residents are matched 5-to-1.
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am either a District of Columbia resident individual making a small-dollar contribution or a non-District of Columbia resident individual.
- I certify and affirm that this contribution is being made in my name and from my own funds.
- I am making this contribution voluntarily and I have not received anything of value in return for this contribution.
- I understand that making a false statement is a violation of the law.
- I hereby affirm that I was not, nor, to my knowledge, was anyone else, reimbursed in any manner for this contribution; that this contribution is not being made as a loan; and that this contribution is being made from my personal funds or my personal account, which has no corporate or business affiliation.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
