Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome shelter, stray, owner relinquished, abused and abandoned dogs. Our goal is to place our rescues in foster homes rather than in boarding facilities. After temperament assessment, needed veterinary services (that sometimes run in the thousands) lots of attention, grooming and socialization and nutritious food, we carefully screen and place these dogs in loving forever homes. We require a home check and two-week trial period before finalizing an adoption. Some dogs are with us for mere weeks, others for months or even years. We wait as long as it takes to find the right match for each and every dog. We require an application, meet-and-greet, home check and two-week trial period before finalizing an adoption.
We take back any of our dogs, even if it is years later. Medical and senior dogs, and breeds like Chihuahua's that are euthanized the most in shelters, are also where our focus lies.
To date, we have saved over 10,000 dogs.
