Contributions to The Liftoff Fund will be allocated as follows:
Contributions from a person and a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will first be allocated evenly between Cooper for North Carolina, Friends of Sherrod Brown, Chris Pappas for Senate, and Alaskans for Mary (each a “Candidate”) up to $3,500/$5,000 per Candidate from a person or PAC, respectively, and designated for the primary election, unless the Candidate’s primary election has occurred, in which case the contribution will be designated for the general election. The next $10,000 from a person and $10,000 from a PAC will be split evenly between Liftoff PAC and DSCC’s general fund. The next $39,300 of each contribution from a person and $10,000 from a PAC will be allocated to DSCC’s general fund. The next $265,800 from a person and $90,000 from a PAC will be allocated to DSCC’s headquarters fund or voter protection/legal defense fund, up to the legal limits.
A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
