I am running for Congress because I believe we have let something fundamental slip away.
I grew up believing that if you worked hard, played by the rules, and showed up for your community, you could build a stable life. That promise is no longer holding for too many families in Western New York. Not because people stopped working, but because our economy stopped being fair.
I do not accept that this is inevitable. And I do not accept leadership that shrugs and moves on.
This campaign is my commitment to restore dignity, accountability, and a basic sense of fairness to how our government serves working people. That is not a slogan. It is a responsibility I am choosing to take on.
Running a campaign rooted in the Common Good means organizing locally, listening carefully, and answering to people rather than special interests. That work requires resources, and it requires shared effort.
If you believe this responsibility matters, I ask you to stand with me.
Most contributions to this campaign are modest and local. Every one of them helps us show up, build trust, and run a campaign worthy of this district. Monthly support helps us plan responsibly, but a one-time contribution carries just as much meaning.
Thank you for taking part in this work. I do not take that trust lightly.
With gratitude,
Aaron Gies
