This week, the Workers Circle flew four families directly impacted by the Trump administration's immigration crackdown to Washington and made sure Kristi Noem had to face them in person as she testified before the U.S. Senate.
These families have loved ones who are being detained right now — some since late October. Many missed days of work and lost wages in order to be in Washington, DC to hold Noem accountable. They showed up anyway, because they believe – as we do – that proximity creates pressure, and that human faces change minds.
