The People Action Fund works from the bottom up, creating and targeting year-round campaigns that speak to voters about local, bread and butter issues that are being legislated in state government and impact their everyday lives -- abortion and healthcare, gun safety, education funding, voting rights.
In 2024 we are focused on statewide ballot initiatives to protect abortion and access to reproductive healthcare. In 2022, our work helped to pass Proposal 3 in Michigan. Abortion access is now enshrined in the state's constitution. Ballot initiatives also help drive voter turnout!

The People Action Fund is a registered 501(c)(4). Its mission is to apply innovations in storytelling and social media to support progressive legislation at the state level, cultivating constituent awareness and a virtuous cycle of local civic empowerment and engagement.
