The Ride To Vote
This Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 6), Lyft is committed to providing 50% off rides across the country, and free rides to underserved communities that face significant obstacles to transportation. Lyft wants to help people across America exercise their right to vote.
To offer these codes, they are working with Vote.org, Nonprofit Vote, TurboVote and more to distribute codes. To offer free rides they are offered through Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates, and the National Federation of the Blind.
Lyft is also partnering with When We All Vote and National Voter Registration Day to ensure Lyft’s passengers, drivers, and broader community are prepared for Election Day.
This fund will split the donations amongst all the charities contributing to Lyft's offer for reduced and free rides for people to vote.
Your contribution will directly help a disadvantaged voter's voice be heard, especially in areas with limited public transportation and polling places closed in efforts to suppress the vote.
