Third Act Initiative

Donate to Third Act

Third Act is a national effort to organize older Americans helping to protect our climate and safeguard our democracy. We’re stepping up and using our strengths as a generation to take collective action for a more livable future—building a skilled, joyful, committed base of volunteers along the way.

A small full-time staff does the organizing and training for thousands of Third Actors across the country, focusing our purpose and passion. Dozens of prospective working groups are waiting to be developed, launched, and supported. Over fifty thousand people took action with Third Act in this last year. We could double that with enough help!

So if you have some money to offer, we will put it to good use.

  • Here’s a snapshot of how your contribution can help:$180 ($15 per month) can pay for food & materials for an in-person event or training
  • $600 ($50 per month) can help cover costs for a working group’s demonstrations over several months
  • $1,200 ($100 per month) can pay a trainer to educate hundreds of volunteers about effective campaigning, base-building, or local media outreach
  • $3,000 ($250 per month) can pay for a compelling 2-3 minute video about our vision that can help bring more people into the movement
  • $6,000 ($500 per month) can pay for a month’s work by one of the organizers supporting new groups

By registering to make monthly contributions, you help Third Act to budget and plan for the future. However, anything you can give at any time will help!
