Fund the Fight Demanding Congress Pass the Abortion is Healthcare Everywhere Act now!

Reproductive rights are a fundamental aspect of human rights, allowing individuals to make decisions about their own bodies, lives, and futures.

Access to safe and legal abortion services is also a matter of public health. In countries where abortion is heavily restricted or criminalized, unsafe procedures take place, leading to an increase in maternal mortality and long-term health complications. In fact, today, 35 million people undergo unsafe abortions every year.

That's why Congress must pass the Abortion is Healthcare Everywhere Act which represents a crucial step in the fight for global reproductive rights because it will help ensure that individuals worldwide have access to safe, legal, and comprehensive reproductive healthcare.

The Abortion is Healthcare Everywhere Act seeks to expand access to reproductive healthcare globally by eliminating harmful policies that restrict or stigmatize abortion services. The act would repeal the Helms Amendment, which has long been a barrier to global reproductive rights by prohibiting the use of U.S. foreign assistance funds for abortion-related services.
