- Guarantee Fair Wages and Benefits for Care Workers: Congress must work to provide care workers with fair wages, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. This includes supporting the right to unionize and bargain collectively, which can help improve working conditions and job security for these essential workers.
- Increase Training and Support for Care Workers: Providing care workers with comprehensive training and support will enable them to deliver the highest quality care possible. Congress should invest in programs that offer education, training, and mentorship for care workers, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.
- Promote a Holistic Approach to Care: Congress should encourage the adoption of person-centered care models that address the unique needs of seniors and people with disabilities, fostering their well-being and independence.
