Ever since our nation was founded, women have had to fight politically to win rights that men (initially certain white men, and eventually all men) possessed automatically simply because they were born male.
The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution would clarify legal reasoning and decisions regarding women's equal rights. It has cleared almost every hurdle blocking its implementation over this multi decade fight. But there’s still one more hurdle left.
Fortunately Representatives Cori Bush and Ayanna Pressley have just launched the first-ever ERA Caucus in Congress to help push it across the finish line and finally achieve constitutional equality for all.
