Fund The Fight against mandatory military service now!

Former Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, a potential member of a future Trump cabinet, has openly voiced support for mandatory military service. This is a direct assault on our fundamental freedoms, a step backward into a darker time in our nation's history.

We've seen this before, and we know the devastating consequences. During the Vietnam era, the draft tore families apart, sparked nationwide protests, and disproportionately affected low-income and minority communities.

While the wealthy and well-connected found ways to avoid service, it was the poor and marginalized who were most impacted by this unjust policy. Now, decades later, we're facing the same threat again. But this time, we have the power to stop it before it starts.

Mandatory military service is a flawed and destructive policy on multiple levels. It infringes on our constitutional rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It forces individuals into roles they may be ill-suited for, potentially harming both the individual and the military's effectiveness.

When even conservative think tanks have argued that it's an ineffective policy that harms military readiness, it’s clear that we must step up to stop this dead in its tracks.
