From the recently attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania to the horrific hammer attack on Paul Pelosi and the shocking violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021 we've seen a disturbing rise in political violence.
Let me be crystal clear: Political violence is NEVER acceptable.
It doesn't matter if it's aimed at Republicans or Democrats, conservatives or liberals. Violence has no place in our political discourse. It's a betrayal of everything our democracy stands for.
