Hi there! My name is Tiki Archambeau and I am running as an Independent for Burlington's Central District City Council seat.
The current council has spent countless hours micromanaging, following scripts formed by advocacy groups, and rushing significant charter changes to the ballot without weighing the consequences.
Now, protests are the default solution to local problems. Traffic is snarled by emotional outbursts. City and personal property is vandalized with regularity. News organizations are shunned or openly attacked for not towing the party line.
If this concerns you too, please know that you are not alone.
The overarching principles of progressivism are indeed worthy of pursuit. But we get there collaboratively, with compromise, and pragmatism. That's called good governance. Or teamwork.
Burlington has a choice on March 2nd. I prefer good governance. By electing me, you invest in a person who has already spent 20 years of his life giving back to the community he loves so dearly.
