I'm Tim Merrick, and it's an honor to serve on the New Hanover County Board of Education and to be the Democratic candidate for North Carolina House District 20.
This year, we have a rare opportunity to flip one of the most competitive House districts in North Carolina. For the first time in more than a decade, this seat is open, and the district has moved steadily toward Democrats in recent elections. Winning House District 20 will help restore balance in the North Carolina General Assembly and stop the extreme agenda coming out of Raleigh.
As a chiropractor, business owner, and school board member, I've seen firsthand the challenges facing working families. That's why I'm running to strengthen public schools, lower costs for working families, support responsible growth, and ensure everyone has a fair shot at success.
