Tina Certain is a lifelong Alachua County resident, accountant, and public servant who has spent the last eight years serving on the Alachua County School Board. She has dedicated her career to expanding opportunity and strengthening local communities.
Her commitment to service began as a volunteer in local schools, where she saw how housing, income, and access to resources shape outcomes for children and families. Since then, she has been a strong advocate for equity, accountability, and public investment.
Now running for Alachua County Commission, Tina is focused on affordability, economic opportunity, environmental protection, and responsive local government. She believes every family deserves a fair chance to succeed and a government that works for them.
