The Labor Force

Fight For Workers!

One week into his term, President Donald Trump just declared war on unions.

In the dead of night, the Trump administration fired NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo, depriving workers of their closest ally in government, and illegally attempted to remove NLRB board member Gwynne Wilcox.

Removing Wilcox would deny the NLRB the quorum it needs to make even the most basic rulings when a company breaks the law. This action is clearly an attempt to hand all of the power to noted union-busters like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

The broligarchy thinks they can stop workers from effectively organizing, but they’re wrong. We will continue to find a way. Or, in the words of Jennifer Abruzzo in her exit statement, “if the Agency does not fully effectuate its Congressional mandate in the future as we did during my tenure, I expect that workers with assistance from their advocates will take matters into their own hands in order to get well-deserved dignity and respect in the workplace, as well as a fair share of the significant value they add to their employer’s operations."

Workers aren’t giving up. And the Labor Force is here to help. From giants like Amazon and Trader Joe’s to regional enterprises like Touchstone Climbing or Blue Bottle Coffee, when workers step up, we have each others’ backs. Chip in to show Trump we won’t back down!
