Wingstop workers in Asheville, NC just went on strike―and they need your help!
Their strike is already getting local news attention―no surprise, since temperatures in the store have been recorded as high as 91.6 degrees, and after workers complained, management slashed their hours.

Wingstop worker Kylie Hottel said her manager:
Has us surviving off four-hour checks for two weeks. We used to work six days a week. I'm working one day a week now, so he cut it extremely. None of us can survive off of that. He wouldn't hear us quietly talking to him in private, so now we're out here to do it loudly.
These workers tried to go through the normal channels. They appealed to their manager, and their manager’s manager. They were ignored, because big corporations like Wingstop treat their employees as disposable. That’s why the workers had no choice but to strike, and demonstrate that they are the ones who keep these stores running.
Something is happening in the south. Greedy managers and corporate executives have treated workers too badly, and workers are rising up to claim their power. It’s up to all of us to support these workers’ emergency relief fund.
While they’re on strike, they still have bills to pay, gas tanks to fill, and families to feed. They’re striking not only for themselves, but for every worker who will walk through the doors of a Wingstop to be treated with dignity.
