PROJECT 1: Dr. Cyril O. Spann Medical Office Preservation

Tnovsa Global Commons is working to completely restore and open this 1960s circa medical office in Columbia, SC which tells the story of Dr. Spann, a WWII veteran, Chief of Staff of the Good Samaritan/Old Waverly Hospital and a civil rights leader. Spann stood shoulder to shoulder with I. DeQuincey Newman, Judge Matthew Perry and Harold Boulware to support student protesters who went onto win Edwards v. South Carolina before the US Supreme Court.



PROJECT 2: South Carolina's World War II Arsenal

Tnovsa Global Commons will promote a 46 county network of World War II military installations and historic sites that demonstrate South Carolina's vital contributions to victory in World War II.




PROJECT 3: Repairs to South Carolina properties in historic districts impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Hurricane Helene hit South Carolina in September 2024 and property damage remains that must be repaired. Tnovsa Global Commons will help repair homes with documented Hurricane Helene damage, and provide the additional navigation and support to follow the guidelines applied in historic districts.
