We are Together for Council Rock.

We are committed to electing school board candidates who will protect public education and strengthen our schools.  

We believe strong public schools are the foundation of our democracy, our community, and our future. Every student deserves the support they need to thrive, every educator deserves our respect, and taxpayer dollars must be used wisely.

We support candidates who believe that:

• Public education is the backbone of our nation’s democracy and prosperity
• Every child deserves the support they need to learn and thrive
• Responsible fiscal stewardship is essential to maintaining trust and delivering results
• Educators are worthy of our respect and gratitude
• Schools should cultivate an environment of critical thinking and mutual respect
• Safe, healthy learning environments help ensure students flourish
• Strong relationships between parents and teachers are key to success 

Efforts to dismantle public education are already underway—including a federal executive order aimed at eliminating the Department of Education and shifting its critical responsibilities, such as special education and civil rights enforcement, to other agencies or states. These actions threaten the progress we've made and put vulnerable students - and all students - at risk.

As our federal government attacks public education, our school board is the last line of defense.
