Rooted in Detroit. Focused on Results.
Born and raised on Detroit’s Eastside, Toinu Reeves knows District 3 because he lives in its reality. He understands first hand the pressure of rising costs, unstable housing, underfunded schools, and limited pathways to real economic mobility.
Trained as an economist, He studies incentives, policy impact, and long-term outcomes. His work has centered on expanding opportunity for working families, strengthening local investment, and advancing solutions that create stability instead of headlines.
Toinu has already worked alongside community leaders, educators, and residents to push for smarter economic policy, greater access to opportunity, and fairness in how public resources are allocated.
Now, he is running for State Senate to bring disciplined thinking and community-centered leadership to Lansing. His focus is clear: lower the cost of living, expand economic opportunity, protect housing stability, and ensure every family in District 3 has a real shot at long-term prosperity.
