TAKE A STANCE AGAINST VANCE!

9 Republicans in the Senate voted to OVERTURN THE 2020 ELECTION. 43 Senate Republicans voted to acquit Trump of impeachment charges for incitement of the attack on our Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

Members of the Democratic Caucus currently occupy 50 of the 100 seats in the U. S. Senate, and Vice President Kamala Harris gives them the tiebreaking vote. So, the margin could not be more narrow.   And in this era of Trump Republicans, the need to Save Our Senate has never been greater!

Historically, Democrats lose Senate seats, in the mid-term elections, during the President’s first term in office.  So, we’re focusing on these 2022 races in order to Save Our Senate:

  • Arizona – This seat was recently won (51 to 49) by Mark Kelly (D) in a special election.
  • Georgia – This seat was won (51 to 49) by Raphael Warnock (D) in a special election runoff on 1/6/21. We ran a successful program in support of now Senator Warnock!
  • Kentucky – This seat is held by Rand Paul (R), who won the seat in 2010. Paul is one of the most polarizing personalities in American politics. While running in 2010, Paul stated that businesses should be allowed to discriminate based upon race. The other Kentucky seat is held by none other than Mitch McConnell.
  • North Carolina – This seat, held by Richard Burr (R), is open in 2022. Biden narrowly lost North Carolina by less than 75,000 votes.
  • Ohio – This seat, held by Robert Portman (R), is open in 2022.  Sherrod Brown has held the other Ohio seat since 2007 and won re-election in 2018 (53 to 47) in 2018.
  • Pennsylvania – This seat, held by Pat Toomey (R), is open in 2022.  Biden narrowly won Pennsylvania (50 to 49) in 2020.
  • Wisconsin –  This seat is held by Ron Johnson (R).  Johnson, who won his last race (50 to 47), has been one of Trump’s most outspoken enablers. Biden narrowly won Wisconsin by almost 21,000 votes.

Together, We Can Save Our Senate!
