If defeating Susan Collins is worth even just $1 to you, please chip in now. We have to make final decisions TODAY.

The latest New York Times/Siena poll has Republican Susan Collins up by three points, 49% to 46%, in Maine's critical U.S. Senate race.

But this poll was conducted before the nonprofit newsroom ProPublica published its shocking investigation of Collins. Collins was involved in a pay-to-play scheme — her top donor, a defense contractor, was giving her campaign cash in exchange for government contracts.

The FBI was investigating Collins' pay-to-play scheme with the weapons contractor, but then Donald Trump gutted the FBI and derailed the inquiry.

Troy Jackson, the Democratic candidate running for Senate against Collins, described Collins' deals as "corruption of the highest order." Because not only is Collins a senator, but she's also chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, and in charge of negotiating the massive annual Pentagon budget.

Collins' corruption is just one of many reasons why it's time for her to leave the Senate. But Maine voters might not know the truth about Collins.

In the run-up to Election Day on November 3 — less than one month away — we have to pull out all the stops and reach voters.

That's why The People United is partnering with the Working Families Party.

TPU and WFP are organizing and doing outreach to defeat Collins. That includes: TV, radio, and digital ads; mailers; grassroots phone banks and text banks; and door-to-door canvass operations. We need to help elect Jackson, Collins' Democratic opponent, who will fight against public corruption and for working class families — in Maine and nationwide.

We are running out of time to make decisions that matter. We're making final determinations TODAY for our final batch of get-out-the-vote work. Is it worth even just $1 to you to defeat Susan Collins? If so, please chip in now.
