John Lewis National Day of Action

Goal thermometer

The record turnout of Black, Brown, Asian, Native American and Young voters in the 2020 elections and

the 2021 Georgia U.S. Senate Run Off has sparked a massive national backlash by state legislators

introducing and passing racist laws to suppress their participation in elections.

On May 8, 2021, a “John Lewis National Day of Action” will ignite public support for restoring the

effectiveness of the Voting Rights Act through S1, the For the People Act, HR1, and HR4. We will also

address one of the greatest obstacles to the passage of civil and voting rights - and one of the last vestiges of slavery - the filibuster!

Your contribution will help to ensure the success of this effort by underwriting expenses including 100 votercades in 100 cities and activism villages. For more information regarding the day of action you can go to johnlewisdayofaction.org website or votingrightsalliance.org
