Support Marlayna Trego for Tennessee House District 37

Meet Marlayna Trego, candidate for Tennessee House District 37 in Rutherford County (Murfreesboro, Smyrna & La Vergne).

Marlayna is a stay-at-home mom and community member who brings a grounded, everyday perspective to her work in public life. Like many in her community, she has seen firsthand the rising costs of groceries, housing, healthcare, and other basic necessities—and the strain that places on working families.

She is running to ensure that the voices of everyday people are heard in Nashville, with a focus on affordability, access to healthcare, and protecting the public services families rely on, including schools, libraries, infrastructure, and emergency services.

Marlayna describes herself as “an exceptionally ordinary person,” motivated by a belief that government should be responsive to the people it serves—not distant from them.

Now, she is stepping forward to serve the people of Tennessee House District 37.

But campaigns are powered by people. If you believe in Marlayna’s vision for stronger communities, greater affordability, and a government that listens to everyday Tennesseans, please consider making a contribution today. Every donation—large or small—helps us reach more voters, share her story, and build the grassroots support needed to compete.
