Let's Launch Mayor Theresa Rich's Re-Election!

We have exciting news to share -- Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Rich is running for re-election, and we need your help to kick off her campaign!

Host Committee (in formation) includes LG Garlin Gilchrist, State Senators Rosemary Bayer and Dayna Polehanki, State Representatives Samantha Steckloff and Jason Hoskins, County Commissioner Gwen Markham, Tina & Leland Bassett, Tashawna Gill & Al BJ Williams, Dolli Lewis, and Elysa & Michael Weil.


Mayor Rich has taken great time, attention, and care to fulfill her campaign promise of making FH even more of a destination, while promoting joy, optimism, and resilience. Here are just some of the highlights: 


  • Finalizing the city's Master Plan to aid development
  • Welcoming new businesses and relocating businesses, including 2000 employees when Comerica opened its HQ
  • Commissioning studies of the Grand River Corridor and Orchard Lake/12 Mile Rd Corridor to find ideas to reimagine those areas
  • Diversifying our boards and commissions through nearly 40 appointments representing broad backgrounds and life experiences, bringing new voices to local government 
  • Bringing to FH a Visit Detroit On the Clock event as part of the NFL Draft! 
  • Established Farmington Hills as a destination in Oakland by bringing the State of the County here 
  • Attended well over 200 community events, fostering trust between residents and local government
