The allocation for funds raised under the Tester Victory Fund before the 2024 general election for U.S. Senate in Montana shall be as follows:
The first $3,300 of each contribution from an individual will be allocated to Montanans for Tester. The first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Montanans for Tester.
The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the Montana Democratic Party.
The next $5,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Treasure State PAC.
The next $41,300 of each contribution from a person and the next $15,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC.
All contributions in excess of these amounts, up to the legal limits, will be allocated to the DSCC’s headquarters fund and/or legal defense fund. A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
Contributions or gifts to the Tester Victory Fund are not tax deductible under federal law.
