Karen was a CPS parent, an LSC member, a teacher for 29 years, and an activist who has worked on school improvement and equity issues at the local level and citywide. As someone who participated in the fight for the elected school board, she is committed to having strong, well-rounded, full service schools, with a Chicago Public School Board that will be transparent and accessible.
But, Karen can't do this work alone. Your support brings us one step closer to the schools our community deserves.

Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, or Public Building Commission.
