Hancock County Indiana Democrats True Blue Dinner

Known as Indiana's Own Dana Black, Dana received her B.S. Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University and MBA with IT Focus from Southern New Hampshire University.

After the introduction of RFRA legislation, Dana realized change was needed for Indiana to move forward and became a candidate for the Indiana House of Representatives; District 88. Although coming up short in 2016, Dana was appointed Deputy chair of Engagement of the Indiana Democratic Party in 2017 and served in that role until 2021.

Because politics and encourageing civic engagement is a passion for Dana she crafted a way to share as much information with citizens as possible by creating and is the host of the Internet political show and Podcast Turn Left. She is also a monthly contributor to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forefront and WISH TV's All Indiana Politics.
