Truman Club Fundraiser with Senate President Pro Tempore Emeritus Toni G. Atkins

Join us at a fundraiser reception for the Truman Club of San Joaquin, with special guest Senate President Pro Tempore Emeritus Toni Atkins. A former San Diego City Councilmember, Senator Atkins knows the importance of recruiting and supporting strong candidates for local office. Prior to her 2016 election to the California State Senate, Toni Atkins served as Speaker of the Assembly, the first San Diegan and the first lesbian to hold the position. Senator Atkins is the first person in 150 years, the third person in California history, and the only woman to lead both houses of the Legislature. Senator Atkins is currently running for California Governor. She will be introduced by our local Senator Susan Eggman, who has represented Stockton and San Joaquin County for 12 years. We hope you can join us.
