Join our Tucsonenses team

TheDGT.org is launching the Tucsonenses club, a sustaining-donor program created to build a strong financial foundation for DGT PAC. The name honors Tucson’s Mexican-American founders, who laid the foundations and established the diverse culture of our great city.

DGT PAC fills an enduring regional need: a continuously operating PAC focused on expanding both the Democratic candidate bench and electoral map through well-qualified, vetted candidates for local office.

Our focus on city, county, and school-board races gives us a strategic advantage: DGT’s locally focused programming and knowledge of down-ballot offices, combined with a shortage of well-resourced PACs specializing in these races. DGT will qualify this year as a MEGAPAC, enabling it to contribute up to twice the normal candidate contribution cap in local races—far more than an individual donor may give—and we can spend in primaries.

Tucsonenses membership begins at $100 per month or $1,200 per year. Sustaining donors will help build a PAC unlike any other in the region, with strategic advantage and early money donations no other local PAC can match. Upon the first monthly contribution, members satisfy their annual DGT membership dues; receive free admission to all DGT events, including paid or suggested-donation events; gain access to Tucsonenses-only briefings and events; and receive additional benefits the Board establishes.

For a limited time, donors who prepay five years receive a $1,000 discount: $5,000 rather than the normal $6,000. They also receive an ex officio, non-voting seat on the Political Committee, allowing them to advocate for their priorities and follow how their contribution is deployed.

We also deeply value gifts to DGT PAC at every amount and frequency. Smaller donations can quickly add up to decisive candidate support. Tucsonenses donors will help create a strongly resourced foundation for PAC operations, and build capacity to support great local candidates.

As President of TheDGT.org and DGT PAC, I would be glad to discuss any Tucsonenses gift personally and answer any questions.

Best Regards,

Michael D. Bryan, Esq.
