TWW supports progressive candidates to flip conservative held congressional seats. California’s 50th Congressional District is currently held by Duncan Hunter (R), who is currently under criminal investigation by the Justice Department for misusing campaign funds.

Congressman Duncan Hunter, who is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice. The LA Times reported that Federal Officials has repeatedly raised questions about unusual spending by Duncan Hunter including flying his rabbit on a plane and payments to a nail salon, his children’s private school, and a Phoenix resort, among others. The Citizens for Responsible Ethics in Washington has characterized Rep. Hunter’s current situation as similar to disgraced former Rep. Aaron Shock who was indicted last year for fraud in excess of $100,000.
