Thank you. I’m so grateful. 


Thanks to the support of voters across the district and our incredible community of supporters throughout Michigan and nationwide, I had the resources to defeat two opponents in my primary tonight. 


Turnout was incredible and that’s because our campaign team had the resources to reach out to likely supporters ― knocking on doors, making calls, and sending text messages ― to GOTV until the very last polling places closed.


Now we must immediately turn to November. 


Democrats can’t flip Senate control without Michigan. 


Turnout in my district will be critical to ensure we send an unbought US Senator to DC.


As we all saw tonight, turnout is what our campaign team does best. 


While we’re out there talking about our positive vision of lowering costs and protecting our democracy and our rights, Trump and Republicans are using Islamophobic dog whistles to attack me, democrats up and down the ballot and demean our movement for peace and justice.


I rely on you and the support of thousands of individuals to power our grassroots campaign. We will not allow Trump, Big Money interests, or genocide enablers to silence our voices.


Together, we will continue dreaming big and taking bold steps to end poverty, secure housing and healthcare for all, get Big Money out of politics, and move our taxpayer dollars to Americans in need rather than weapons corporations or for-profit detention centers.
