Bail Fund for Texas Schools

Texas schools and school officials are facing fines of $1,000 if they require students to wear masks!

We need to raise at least $100,000 to protect at least 100 school districts that stand up to Governor Greg Abbott.

It is Abbott's emergency order GA-38 that threatens $1,000 fines and prevents many school districts from implementing universal masking policies — even though we know these policies save lives, and are especially important for children under 12 who cannot receive a vaccination.

The Texas Supreme Court indicated that it will not support counties and school districts when they require masks indoors. So it's up to us to support our schools when they do the right thing for us.

Ground Game Texas is partnering with Safe Schools for All to provide this bail fund. Safe Schools for All is a growing statewide organization that represents thousands of parents who are fighting for basic safety measures like mask policies in nearly 100 school districts across Texas.
