Texas Legislature Special Session Quorum Break Out

The redistricting wars are ramping up. At President Trump's urging, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called the Texas state Legislature back to Austin, into a special session this week that includes a call to redistrict the Lone Star State to help Republicans pick up seats in Congress.

Hope Springs from Field PAC is once again activating experienced Field Organizers and Volunteers to mobilize voters who oppose this rigged-districting debacle.

The president wanted Texas lawmakers to redraw the state’s congressional map, because of worries about the slim Republican House majority surviving the midterm elections. But we find voters oppose this partisan redistricting plan and want the state to deal with one of the state’s worst natural disasters in generations

The redistricting fight, though, has national implications and headline-grabbing potential. Democrats in the Legislature have now walked out and broken the Quorum to thwart the effort.

With your support, we can get engage Democrats and unaffiliated voters in Texas to resist this MAGA effort prevent Democrats from re-gaining control of the U.S. House.

Thank you for your support.
