Donate to Ugo for 40th Ward Alderman!

Friends, I’m running for alderman of the 40th Ward.

I’ve lived in Budlong Woods, the heart of the 40th Ward, since I was 9 years old. It was in these communities, with my neighbors, that I learned to see the world -- it’s how I know the entrenched leadership of the 40th Ward is out of touch, and that it’s time for a change.

I’m running so that the people of Peterson Woods, Andersonville, Ravenswood, Edgewater, and North Park will once again have a voice, co-governing with me in the City Council. I’m running to craft and pass equitable policy that ensures all Chicagoans can thrive. This is all because our struggles are interconnected - all people from all sides of Chicago rise and fall together.

The election is coming up in February 2019, and our work is starting right now.

Can you make a donation to get our campaign off the ground? Whether it’s $20, or $10, or $5, a donation at this stage of the campaign will go a long way.

I am confident that we will win this race. I'm confident because we are living in this new political moment, because we are putting forth policies that have the support of the people of Chicago, and because we’re doing this together. Thank you, and let's get to work by continuing the political revolution.
