Due to rain, we must reschedule! Gather outside with friends old and new to lift a glass while engaging in a few actions that will lift your spirits!, while supporting two intrepid litigation firms. New date: Sunday, April 6, 3:30-5:30PM. Oakland address provided upon donation. Sliding scale $30-$50 per person. We'll be in touch to determine if you're bringing guests. For over 50 years, Public Citizen has been an intrepid and constant presence in court. In fact, they’re in court right now, fighting DOGE, funding cuts, and all manner of executive overreach.

The National Immigration Law Center pushes back against anti-immigrant forces. Sweeping executive decrees and harmful legislation are creating fear and causing immeasurable and permanent harm to our communities.


Both of these courageous organizations boast decades of experience. We’re all looking to the courts right now as a wall against executive extremism and Republican complicity. Your gift to either or both organizations will keep lawyers in court, fund complex litigation, and enable rapid-response legal action.
