Donate to Support Hospitality Workers
Since 2001, the UNITE HERE Education and Support Fund has provided hospitality workers with disaster and hardship relief and training opportunities that provide access to good jobs.
The Fund has recently helped:
- Hospitality workers impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles fires and the 2023 Maui fire
- Training centers that help hospitality workers access good jobs
- The Southern Solidarity Opportunity Center, which trains and assists formerly incarcerated and immigrant workers to secure good jobs in the hospitality industry

Hotel housekeeper Maria Martinez and her family lost their home in the Eaton fire in January 2025.
Hotel workers Rosenda Ramos (pictured in the center) and her husband Anthony received assistance from UHESF when they lost their Lahaina home in the wildfires.
In 2024, the first applicants of the Southern Solidarity Opportunity Center received training and assistance to secure good jobs in the hospitality industry.
