Retain MILANNA JONES for Pontiac City Council - DISTRICT 2
I am thrilled to announce the launch of the United with Jones campaign and my intention to retain my seat on the Pontiac City Council for District 2!
Since my appointment to the Pontiac City Council in August 2024, I have been dedicated to advocating for the needs of our residents, ensuring that every voice is heard and that real progress is made. My focus has been on beautification, public safety, and civic engagement, all aimed at improving our city and enhancing the quality of life for everyone.
In my short time on the council, I have:
- Worked with my colleagues to allocate all ARPA funds before the deadline, securing vital resources for our community.
- Advocated for additional ARPA funds to support small businesses, workforce development, and literacy programs.
- Consistently addressed key infrastructure concerns, including road repairs, fixing streetlight outages, and partnering with other departments to tackle blight.
- Hosted and supported civic engagement opportunities, providing critical resources to help residents navigate winter's challenges, offering youth educational workshops, and encouraging community engagement to beautify District 2.
- Consistently provides a strong voice for public safety throughout District 2, tackling disruptive and illegal activities in residential neighborhoods.
