Support UNITE HERE canvassers in 2024

UNITE HERE is launching an ambitious field program in seven states needed to win the Presidency, Senate, House, and other down ballot races in 2024: Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, California, and New York. We are also running member-to-member programs in Michigan, Georgia, and Maryland.

We have a decades-long track record of inspiring working people to vote, operating the nation’s largest independent labor-led canvassing program that has delivered key electoral victories. For example, Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto won in ‘22 by 7,928 votes; the Analyst Institute estimates that we generated between 9,800 and 15,600 unique votes in Nevada. Our Nevada program is rooted in engaging the 145,000 Nevadans who get health care coverage from UNITE HERE Culinary Health Fund, meaning our cumulative impact in ’22 was between 40,000 and 50,000 votes.

Our canvassers are union members–workers talking to workers at the door about their fight to protect their livelihoods, their families, and their country. They are housekeepers, cooks, dishwashers, and concessions workers who have won middle-class wages and top-notch health insurance through one-on-one grassroots organizing. They apply their organizing skills to our high-quality canvassing program that delivers electoral wins.
