Help Us Unseat Cori Bush!!

St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell announced he will challenge Squad member Cori Bush in the Democratic primary.

“With the world in a dangerous place, we need steady and effective leadership,” Bell said. “And we’re not getting it.”

Bell called out Bush’s stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict, saying the congresswoman’s initial response to the militant’s group surprise attack was not appropriate. Last week, she was among just 10 House members who voted against a resolution supporting Israel following the attacks by Hamas that began Oct. 7.

Bell also took Bush to task for her well-publicized backing of the “defund the police” effort, saying it was misguided and it hurt the Democrats, giving Republicans the “red meat they needed” to take control of the House in 2022.

Bell already has a monetary lead over Bush, with $88,000 in cash on hand and no outstanding debt. Recent campaign reports show that the Bush campaign is in debt about $130,000, with less than $20,000 in cash on hand.

Bush's campaign also faces ethics complaints related to her continued employment of her new husband.
